Expedition

 

Presented in the group exhibition Indícios, Expedição IV is an oil painting on paper that marks the beginning of the series Coleção de memórias não vividas (Collection of Unlived Memories). The work inaugurates a journey through forests and landscapes, where experience, imagination, and memory intertwine. In this journey, what was lived and what could have been lived come to occupy the same space, giving rise to memories constructed between observation, invention, and desire.
